Gemma Elizabeth is a qualified and professional trained
Makeup Artist based in Glasgow, covering the whole of the UK.
After graduating in Makeup Artistry from Clydebank College,
Gemma spent several years travelling and working across Europe, Canada and America.
During this time, Gemma gained extensive experience within the Media and
Fashion Industries, working alongside some of the Industry’s leading Makeup
Artists. This has been hugely beneficial in her thriving career and has enhanced
her outstanding and invaluable skills. Gemma prides herself on adapting these
skills to each individual client or campaign.
Gemma has also worked for some of the world’s biggest
Cosmetic Retailers, including bareMinerals and Sephora. This has given her an exceptional insight into
customer expectations from cosmetics. Using this expertise, Gemma can
creatively customize and tailor an exclusive look for any client.
Gemma’s approach
to makeup is extraordinary and unique. “I focus more on enhancing the
individual and natural beauty, rather than masking it. My passion stems from being
able to literally change people’s lives with makeup and that is what drives me
to continually build strong and personal relationships with my clients.” Whether
it’s your big day or a special occasion, a photo-shoot or a promotional event, Gemma
is consistently committed to delivering an outstanding client experience and
surpassing all expectations at every opportunity.
Gemma has
worked for numerous Fashion, Beauty and Commercial clients on behalf of
bareMinerals, including Scottish Fashion Awards; Hartmann Media; Marc Ross and
Prince’s Trust. Gemma has an
existing celebrity clientele, and has also assisted top Makeup Artists,
including Janine Bird at the MOBOS 2011 and bareMinerals’ International Makeup
Aritst Makeup Artist, Sarah-Jane Froom.
Gemma has
been published in The Herald and The Sunday Herald; Daily Record; Evening
Times; Westender Magazine and No1 Magazine.
Gemma specialises in Bridal, Editorial and Media Makeup. Gemma is also qualified in Special
Effects Makeup, Body Painting and Hair-Styling, and is an expert in
bareMinerals.
